We moved to the Old Rectory in the summer of 2002. Our third daughter was 6 weeks old, and we wanted to create a wonderful environment for their childhood - a playground that they could explore and grow in; somewhere to stimulate the senses and encourage an awareness of the amazing natural world around them. The original garden was mostly lawn, with a few old shrubs and very little visiting wildlife. Over the years it has been a joy to watch the garden grow and change, and as it has done so, a joy also to observe the diversity of creatures that now visit.
